Kite Pharma in El Segundo, CA is offering an Intern - Kite Development - Tech Ops (Quality) internship where you will contribute to high-impact projects and gain real-world experience at a biopharma leader.

You'll analyze Maximo work order data, support QE review, assist CQV documentation, and create dashboards while collaborating with QE, Facilities, Validation, and other stakeholders. This hybrid internship runs 10–12 weeks between May and August.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a U.S. college or university with continued enrollment in Fall.
• Minimum GPA 2.8 (official transcripts may be requested).
• Must be 18+ at start of internship and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Hybrid internship; 10–12 weeks between May and August; full-time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Maximo work order data to identify rework trends and backlogs.
• Observe QE review of maintenance, calibration, asset management and Maximo records.
• Support CQV documentation review and discrepancy tracking under QE guidance.
• Assist with data gathering, equipment record reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Create dashboards, trend summaries, process maps, job aids and trackers.
• Collaborate with QE, Facilities, Validation, Calibration/Maintenance and others.
• Present final work via a PPT near internship conclusion.
