Job summary

Ascension is offering a Summer Internship in the Actuarial and Managed Care Analytics department. This remote role provides exposure to reporting, data querying, and market research within a healthcare analytics context.

Interns will assist with analytics packages, support special projects, and help analyze utilization and cost data while learning about managed care concepts. The position is full-time for the summer, with opportunities to engage in data quality checks and cross-functional

Qualifications

• High school diploma equivalency or enrollment in an accredited program.
• Strong interest in math, statistics, economics or healthcare-related fields is preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• - Required Credential(s): None Required.

Education

• - High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.

Additional Preferences:

• - Progress towards (or completion of) Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a healthcare-related field is strongly preferred.
• - Healthcare industry knowledge, such as managed care and value based care concepts, population health and healthcare economics is strongly preferred.
• - Prior internship experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.
