Job summary

Ascension is offering a remote summer internship in the Actuarial and Managed Care department. The role involves market research, data gathering, and assisting in actuarial model development.

You will compile reports, present findings, and participate in team meetings, gaining exposure to healthcare actuarial work. Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in actuarial science or a related field, with progress toward a bachelor’s degree and at least one SOA exam completed or in progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; enrollment in a relevant program encouraged.
• Progress towards bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or healthcare-related field preferred.
• Completion of at least one SOA exam is desirable.
• Prior internship in actuarial or healthcare setting is a plus.

Education

Additional Preferences

• Progress towards (or completion of) Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or healthcare-related field
• Successful completion of at least 1 SOA exam
• Prior internship experience in an actuarial or healthcare organization
