Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Senior or Graduate Engineering Intern to collaborate with HBM architecture teams, supporting digital design methodologies, automation frameworks, timing analysis flows, and architecture validation for next-gen HBM PHY and IO subsystems.

This role offers hands-on experience in digital design, verification, and AI-assisted engineering workflows, including LLMs and Generative AI tools to boost productivity and design efficiency, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of digital design concepts including FSMs, pipelining, CDC, timing analysis, and computer architecture.
• Experience with RTL design and verification concepts using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or a comparable language, and Linux-based development experience.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support digital design, integration, and timing analysis activities for HBM PHY and IO subsystems, including timing constraint development and timing closure.
• Develop and implement verification solutions using Verilog/SystemVerilog and UVM-based environments, analyze simulation results, and debug issues.
• Create Python-based automation tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and product engineering teams to evaluate features and improve design quality metrics.
• Document findings and present results in design reviews and project discussions.
