Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. invites an Intern Design Engineer to join the HBM design team in Richardson, TX. You will work on designing, simulating, and verifying HBM memory and logic circuits, with exposure to RTL, timing, power analysis, and AI-assisted workflows across cross-functional teams.

You’ll build skills in EDA tools, scripting, and semiconductor design methodologies while contributing to product development lifecycle and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in EE/CE/CS.
• Completed coursework in Digital Logic Design, CMOS, VLSI, or related subjects.
• Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL through academics or projects.
• Programming in Python, Perl, Tcl, C/C++ with analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix and RTL design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design, simulation, analysis, and verification of HBM memory and logic circuits.
• Support RTL development, timing and power analysis, and functional validation.
• Develop scripts and AI-assisted automation to boost productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with Design, Verification, Physical Design, CAD, and Product Engineering teams.
• Document work and share insights to improve design methodologies.
