Job summary

Amazon's Intermodal (AZIM) Operations team is seeking Transportation Specialists to drive end-to-end execution of loads on the 1P network from Tempe, AZ. You will communicate with carriers and stakeholders, pull data from databases, and perform ad hoc reporting to keep operations on track and address disruptions in real time.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ years of computer experience, fluency in English, and the ability to work a 40-hour week with overtime, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 1+ years of computer experience with common software tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
• Able to use SQL or similar databases for ad hoc reporting.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with carriers, rail partners, vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate operations.
• Pull data from databases and perform ad hoc reporting to monitor performance.
• Understand and act on performance metrics to drive results.
• Rectify disruptions and follow standard processes to make data-informed decisions.
