Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an Intermodal Shipper Experience Manager to drive best-in-class operational execution for brokerage customers. You will report to Senior Shipper Experience Managers and collaborate with Operations and Sales to align on service levels and account growth.

Responsibilities include managing operations and communications to meet KPIs, staying current on rail/intermodal practices, and using pricing tools to optimize rates and services for clients.

Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree preferred
• 3-5 years brokerage experience preferred with domestic truckload, LTL, and intermodal shipments
• Familiarity with DOT trucking regulations ( Hours of Service, Claims)
• Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high call volume
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Rudimentary knowledge of TMS programs used for brokerage services
• Familiarity with external and internal pricing tools
• Willingness to adapt schedule based on shipment volume

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and execute operations to meet shipper KPIs.
• Educate on rail and intermodal practices, market dynamics, pricing strategies, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal tools to improve customer operations and service delivery.
• Develop SOPs for each account managed by operations.
• Support branch leadership and sales in account growth initiatives.
• Manage rates and services with clients for primary modes (FTL, LTL, Dray, IMDL, Port Services)
• Ensure proper follow-up and management of all loads.
• Collaborate across departments to deliver fast, efficient brokerage operations.
