Zusammenfassung

NFI Industries in Illinois is hiring an Intermodal Carrier Account Manager to be the main liaison between NFI and its third-party intermodal drayage carrier base. You will plan loads, optimize routes, and maintain carrier performance with proactive communication and timely issue resolution.

You will negotiate rates, collaborate with customers and internal teams, and ensure required documentation is provided.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years Brokerage experience preferred working with domestic truckload, LTL, and intermodal shipments.
• Familiarity with DOT trucking regulations (Hours of Service, Claims etc).
• Proficient in using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in fast paced environment that involves learning and using multiple applications and handling a high volume of phone calls.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Rudimentary knowledge of TMS programs used for brokerage services.
• Familiarity with External and Internal NFI pricing tools.
• Individual commitment towards sharpening existing or acquiring new skills as required by demands of the business or customers.

Aufgaben

• Load planning, optimization, routing and scheduling of intermodal shipments.
• Assess carrier conformance to NFI standards to ensure service levels.
• Respond to emails and calls; track and move shipments.
• Negotiate network rates, spot rates, and capacity with carriers to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and internal teams to meet partner needs.
• Provide enroute problem resolution and documentation such as PODs, BOLs, Images, OS&D forms.
