Job summary

U.S. Multimodal Group is seeking an Intermodal Business Coordinator to oversee frontline intermodal operations from origin to delivery. You will build vendor and customer relationships, monitor shipments, and ensure complete fulfillment of customer needs.

The role requires understanding customer processes, coordinating rail and drayage, and maintaining accurate shipment data daily. A fast-paced team environment offers growth and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in intermodal freight handling, shipping operations, or freight forwarding.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Process orders in Alliance operating system.
• Build relationships with rail, dray, and customers to meet requirements.
• Manage customer business to ensure compliance and daily data updates.
• Ensure timely pickup and delivery; resolve shipment issues and communicate with customers.
• Escalate issues outside SOPs to Alliance management.
• Train new team members on accounts handled.
