You will oversee Fleet Managers and Account Managers, ensure safety training, and drive continuous improvement across day-to-day workflows in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• 5+ years intermodal and management experience.
• Knowledge of transportation safety.
• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a non-confrontational, problem solving manner.
• Demonstrate continuous improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Match capacity (drivers) to daily demand (freight).
• Act as 2nd level problem solver for operations issues.
• Minimize deadhead and cartage expenses.
• Lead operation team of Fleet Managers, CS Managers, Account Managers and Accessorial Advisers.
• Ensure Fleet Managers dispatch drivers, negotiate load assignments and confirm appointments.
