The Memphis terminal handles over 100,000 lifts annually and runs 24/7, focusing on lift operations, container and chassis management, yard operations, inventory control, and equipment utilization. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of leadership experience in intermodal/transport/logistics, strong safety awareness,

Formación

• 2+ years of leadership experience in intermodal, transportation, logistics, warehousing, railroad, or terminal operations.
• Supervisory experience leading hourly employees in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and compliance.
• Experience managing productivity, labor planning, and KPIs.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
• Experience with rail, intermodal, trucking, yard management, or container operations preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise day-to-day intermodal terminal operations, ensuring safe, efficient freight handling.
• Lead and develop terminal personnel, promoting safety, accountability, and productivity.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound train activities for container and equipment processing.
• Monitor yard inventory, equipment utilization, and container movement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, railroad requirements, and safety regs.
• Coach employees, manage performance, and provide training.
• Track KPIs like dwell time, on-time release, safety, and equipment availability.
• Allocate labor, equipment, and resources based on daily workload and trains.
• Collaborate with customers, railroad reps, mechanics, and leadership to resolve issues.
