Job summary

MEDLOG USA is seeking a Field Safety Specialist to monitor driver and contractor compliance, oversee safety documentation, and conduct truck and terminal inspections.

You will deliver new driver/contractor orientations, coordinate with Onboarding and Safety teams, and ensure Hours of Service and ELD standards are followed in a fast-paced, intermodal environment.

This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

• Experience in intermodal container drayage and trucking.
• Proficient with MS Outlook and Excel.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with reliable attendance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• DOT/FMCSA compliance support and driver safety oversight.
• Monitor Hours of Service and safety events in our ELD platform.
• Accident/incident investigation support and corrective actions.
• Complete orientation for new drivers/contractors.
• Assist Onboarding with collecting required applicant documents.
• Perform terminal, yard and field safety inspections.
• Oversee driver/contractor and truck expirations with Safety Compliance.
• Work with terminal operations staff on safety related issues.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7a - 4p.
