Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions seeks an Interline Specialist to serve as the main contact for our Interline network, reviewing interline splits and shipments daily. You will work with partner carriers to secure competitive rates and act as a resource for our Customer Service team to maintain smooth partner relationships.

This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ownership of key business processes. The position has potential to be remote.

Qualifications

• One year of Accounts Receivable experience desired but not required.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Extensive knowledge of principles, procedures, and best practices in transportation and freight.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Access.
• Willing to learn new computer programs to assist daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Daily revenue splitting and report generation for Interline Partners’ revenue.
• Maintain and manage open AR for Interline Partners.
• Assist Accounts Payable with interline payment questions.
• Assist with customer calls and emails.
• Communicate with partners for approval of additional services.
• Collaborate across departments to prevent misroutes.
• Provide documentation for invoicing with partner carriers.
• Review splits to ensure charges align with contracts.
• Review partner rates to ensure alignment with agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
