Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is looking for an Interline Specialist to manage interline partners and the daily audit of interline splits. You will work with partner carriers to secure competitive rates and resolve past-due or short-paid shipments, while supporting our Customer Service team to maintain strong partner relationships.

The role requires attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset, with potential for remote work.

Qualifications

• One year of Accounts Receivable experience desired but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the transportation and freight industry.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Access; willingness to learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Daily revenue splitting and report generation for the Interline Partners revenue.
• Maintain and manage the open AR for Interline Partners.
• Assist Accounts Payable with interline payment and partner invoice questions.
• Assist with customer calls and emails.
• Communicate with partners to obtain approval for additional services required for pick up or delivery.
• Cross department collaboration to prevent and correct potential misroutes.
• Work with partner carriers to provide required documentation for invoicing.
• Review splits sent to our partners to ensure charges are distributed accurately.
• Review rates provided by partners to ensure they are in line with contractual agreements.
• Other duties as assigned.
