The University Libraries at the State University of New York at Buffalo is seeking a Lending Services Coordinator to support Interlibrary Loan operations and resource sharing. You will collaborate with partner libraries to ensure timely processing and accurate compliance with policies.

Responsibilities include handling ILL requests via multiple systems, monitoring issues, invoicing for unreturned items, and staffing planning with the Resource Sharing team.

Qualificações

• An associate’s degree with three years of relevant library experience or a bachelor’s degree with one year of experience.
• Organizational and communication skills to manage priorities and relationships.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Authorized to work in the United States by start date.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as initial contact for UB Resource Sharing Lending operations and escalate complex issues.
• Process Interlibrary Loan requests for physical and electronic materials per policy.
• Process requests from non-UB libraries via Alma, Rapido, ILLiad, and other systems.
• Monitor borrowing libraries and communicate about ILL issues, overdue items.
• Create invoices for UB-owned materials not returned.
• Collaborate with Resource Sharing and Delivery Services to plan staffing.
• Serve on committees to coordinate workflows across systems.
