Your work includes coordinating loans with Tipasa, overseeing desk shifts, training student assistants, and using Folio to manage notices and staff procedures, ensuring smooth library operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least one year of library experience; associate degree considered with more experience.
• Experience providing interlibrary loan services preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and complete detailed work accurately.
• Experience with automated library systems and shelving; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interlibrary loan borrowing and lending requests using Tipasa.
• Oversee the circulation desk during assigned shifts and issue borrowing credentials.
• Assist with hiring, training, and supervising work-study student assistants.
• Use Folio to prepare courtesy and overdue notices and maintain procedures.
• Support collection organization, troubleshoot equipment, report circulation issues, and assist with special projects.
