Job summary

HITT Contracting in Dallas, TX, seeks a Commercial Construction Project Manager - Interiors to lead project teams from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and to spec.

The PM will manage budgets, schedules, and client communications, while coordinating with field and office personnel and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. A strong reading of drawings and mastery of industry software are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction.
• Experience in project management with multiple concurrent projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency with ProCore, Microsoft Office, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety standards and required documentation.
• Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and prepare monthly owner reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, pay applications) including approvals and change orders.
• Schedule projects; ensure quality control and overall logistics.
• Manage the closeout process efficiently.
• Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs and services offered.
• Supervise assistant operations staff and technical leads.
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the project life.
