Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in Texas from pre-construction through closeout. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, safety, quality, and communications with clients, subs, and internal teams.

You will develop RFPs, manage meetings, and supervise support staff while maintaining safety, standards, and timely reporting. Strong leadership and drawing-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; four-year degree strongly preferred; in lieu of a degree, additional experience acceptable.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Previous project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency with software systems such as ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards, and MS Office suite.
• Mastery of reading construction drawings and updating project-related drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to safety and file required documentation.
• Create and manage project budgets for assigned projects.
• Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages.
• Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and prepare owner reports.
• Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, pay apps); approve pay apps and change orders.
• Perform scheduling; ensure quality control and logistics across the project.
• Manage closeout processes efficiently.
• Engage with customers to discuss needs and services offered.
• Supervise assistant PMs, admin staff, MEP managers, safety personnel, etc.
• Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle.
