Job description

Summary

Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles following technical data such as manufacturer instructions, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, and industry standards approved by the FAA.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and alterations on civil aviation articles as per technical data and FAA-approved standards.
• Ensure familiarity with all tools and equipment used in the assigned area.
• Properly document work performed in maintenance records.
• Use appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment.
• Record information and complete work in compliance with inspection and quality policies.
• Follow safety directives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain shop tools in operational condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical Degree (Airframe and Powerplant Certification) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or an additional 2 years of work experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to teardown, inspect, requisition parts, assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft fuel components.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling applications.

Preferred Requirements

• Airframe and Powerplant Certification or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in MRO, aviation, interior repair shop, or related light industrial repair work.

Other

• Background check and drug testing required for the selected applicant.
