Job description

Summary

Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles following current technical data, including manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, and industry standards approved by the FAA.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and alterations on civil aviation articles per technical data and FAA approval.
• Familiarize with all tools and equipment used within the responsible area.
• Accurately record work performed in maintenance records.
• Use proper inspection techniques and calibrated equipment.
• Document work in compliance with inspection procedures and quality policies.
• Follow safety directives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Maintain shop tools in good operational condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Technical Degree (Airframe and Powerplant Certification) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or an additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
• Ability to teardown, inspect, requisition parts, assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft fuel components.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Requirements

• Airframe and Powerplant Certification or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in MRO, aviation, or related light industrial repair work.

Other

• The applicant will undergo background checks and drug testing.
