Job summary
General Motors seeks an Engineering Technical Leader (ETL) to lead Interior IP, Console, Mechanisms and Decorative Trim programs, focusing on safety, quality and disciplined delivery. You will manage a team of about 10 DREs and TS, driving design reviews and cost, quality and performance targets across GM's vehicle portfolio.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
- 15+ years automotive engineering experience, preferably Instrument Panel, Deco and Floor Console.
- Expertise in instrument panel, decorative trim, and floor console performance requirements.
- Proven product development to launch capability and cross‑functional communication.
- Strong people leadership and ability to motivate engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead IP/Console/Deco/Mechanisms DREs to deliver milestones with engineering excellence.
- Be the technical expert for IP/Console/Deco/Mechanisms and components.
- Conduct technical design reviews ensuring alignment with BOM strategies and requirements.
- Collaborate with ETLs for technical coherence and cross‑program consistency.
- Drive DFMEA quality, robust design, peer reviews, and DFSS to lift quality.
