Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Technical Specialist for Interior Door Trim to lead the technical lifecycle of trim components. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Validation, and Supplier teams to ensure successful development and integration of interior trim systems.

The role requires deep experience in automotive interiors, strong problem-solving abilities, and hands-on leadership across prototype builds, validations, and production launches.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in automotive interior components and systems, with emphasis on Door Trim or related interiors.
• Experience leading technical issue resolution via structured methods (8D, A3, DFMEA, PFMEA).
• Ability to read CAD models, drawings, GD&T, and technical specs (CATIA V5/V6 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for Door Trim issues.
• Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing to ensure successful development and launch of Interior Door Trim systems.
• Drive technical reviews and change management activities (ECRs, deviations, continuous improvements).
• Support supplier development, validation, production readiness, and launch execution.
• Establish and maintain technical requirements, design guidelines, and best practices for Door Trim systems.
