Job summary

Extell Development Company in New York seeks a Designer to support the Vice President by coordinating with cross-functional teams and external consultants through all design stages.

You will review design drawings for viability, ensure compliance, and guide FFE, OS&E, and art programs, while performing AutoCAD drafting and 3D modeling; collaboration with marketing and sales to create compelling materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3+ years of relevant interior design/architecture experience.
• Strong FFE experience; knowledge of design drawing review and redlining.
• Experience with construction docs, coordination with MEP, structure, and code compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist VP with strategic collaboration and coordination across cross-functional teams and external consultants/vendors to realize design goals.
• Review design drawings and submissions for viability, and provide feedback on design, layouts and FFE.
• Ensure design compliance and integrity during the interior design process.
• Oversee punch list review and quality control; manage FFE, OS&E and art program selection.
• Conduct product research and sample procurement; perform AutoCAD drafting and 3D modeling.
• Participate in OAC and coordination meetings including MEP, structure, and code compliance.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to create project sales and marketing materials.
