Job summary

Extell Development Company is seeking a Designer to support the Vice President, coordinating design efforts across cross-functional teams and external consultants. The role involves reviewing design drawings, ensuring design integrity, and guiding FF&E choices through all design stages.

The designer will perform AutoCAD drafting, 3D modeling, and participate in meetings with MEP, structure, and code teams, plus help with marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Strong ability to review and redline drawings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and 3D modeling; knowledge of construction processes and FF&E is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support VP in coordinating cross-functional teams and external consultants to meet project goals.
• Review design drawings and submissions for viability and compliance; provide feedback on layouts and FF&E.
• Oversee punch list, quality control, and OS&E/ art program selections; perform drafting tasks and 3D modeling.
• Participate in OAC and coordination meetings with MEP, structure, and code compliance; assist construction administration.
• Collaborate with marketing/sales to create sales and marketing materials; work at offices and active construction sites.
