The role includes reviewing design drawings for feasibility and integrity, managing FFE and art programs, and performing AutoCAD drafting and 3D modeling.

Our projects aim to innovate and inspire.Summary of Responsibilities:The Designer assists the Vice President with the strategic collaboration and coordination among both cross-functional teams and external consultants/vendors to realize design project goals and the facilitation of the interior design process through all stages of design. This position performs thorough reviews of design drawings and submissions to include the viability of design intent; ensures design compliance and integrity; and provides feedback regarding design, layouts and FFE to the interior design team. The position oversees design punch list review and quality control; manages FFE, OS&E and art program selection; conducts product research and sample procurement; and performs AutoCad drafting tasks and 3D modeling. The Designer further participates in OAC and coordination meetings to include MEP, structure, and code compliance; the construction administration process; and the submittal, RFI, and SK process. The Designer further collaborates with the marketing and sales team to create sales and marketing materials for projects; and performs other duties as assigned. This position requires working at both office locations and active construction sites.Summary of Requirements:Ideal candidates for the Designer position hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design; three (3) of relevant experience in interior design, architecture or similar, preferably within the real estate industry; strong FFE experience; sound design drawing knowledge and ability to review and redline drawings; and knowledge of general workflow and processes for construction and design. Effective communication (verbal and written), professional presentation, interpersonal, administrative, technical problem-solving, architectural and interior technical skills with a high attention to detail are required. The effective ability to present recommendations and interact with senior management are desired. The ideal candidate possesses an effective ability to work independently and within a team; and the successful ability to take initiative, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
