Job summary

Rivian is seeking an Interior Engineering professional to design and develop Class A interior trim components for our electric vehicles. You will shape concepts into production-ready parts, using Catia V6/3D Experience and Enovia for data and change management.

Collaboration with styling, engineering, and suppliers is essential to hit performance, weight, and cost goals. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of automotive experience, with skills in molding, DFMEA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Class A molding and interior trim development.
• Knowledge of Catia V6/3D Experience and DFMEA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and model Class A plastic and soft trim components from concept through production.
• Use Catia V6/3D Experience to create high-quality 3D data and 2D drawings.
• Collaborate with designers to realize design themes and ensure engineering integrity.
• Manage BOMs and change processes using Enovia; support DFMEAs with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate validation plans and activities, and sign off results.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support vehicle launches.
