Job summary

Havertys Furniture is seeking Interior Design Consultants or Design Graduates to craft dynamic home décor and furnish happiness for customers. You will run in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations, build floor plans, and present design boards to close sales.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in interior design or related experience (ASID preferred) and strong MS Office/Room Planner skills. The role offers uncapped commissions and paid training in a fast-paced showroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field, or 2–4 years experience; ASID preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Room Planner software beneficial.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills for design consultations.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and sales consultants to design spaces and select furniture and accessories.
• Offer in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations to understand needs and space.
• Create floor plans and 3D renderings of Haverty’s furniture in customers’ homes.
• Assist in closing transactions by applying design knowledge.
• Coordinate home visits and final presentations to review items and delivery.
• Provide feedback after visits and on floorplans and boards.
• Assist with creating special-order SKUs and boosting sales.
