Job summary

Havertys Furniture in Fort Myers is seeking Interior Design Consultants to help customers create dynamic home décor and furnish happiness. You will offer in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations, develop floor plans, and present design boards to complete a customer’s space.

The role includes assisting sales consultants to close transactions, coordinating home visits, and providing feedback to optimize presentations. Training is provided, with growth opportunities within Havertys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field, or 2–4 years experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and transportation to in-home appointments.
• Experience with Microsoft Office; Room Planner software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and sales consultants to create beautiful rooms and spaces.
• Offer in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations to understand needs and space.
• Create floor plans and photo-realistic renderings for client presentation.
• Assist Sales Consultants in closing transactions with design knowledge.
• Coordinate with customers during home visits and final presentations.
