Job summary

Havertys Furniture in Durham, NC is seeking Interior Design Consultants or Design Graduates to craft dynamic home décor designs and help furnish happiness for customers. The role includes in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations, floor plans, and photo-realistic renderings to showcase finished spaces.

Earn between $55,000 and $100,000+ per year with an uncapped commission structure and paid training. Daily Pay, 401K matching, generous benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field, or 2–4 years related experience/equivalent.
• ASID certification preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home appointments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Room Planner software experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and sales consultants to design rooms and select furniture and accessories.
• Provide in-home, in-store, and virtual consultations.
• Create floor plans and photo-realistic renderings for customer presentations.
• Assist sales consultants to close transactions with design expertise.
• Coordinate with customers during home visits and final presentations.
