Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Design Consultant to assist homebuyers with design selections, ensuring alignment with product standards, budgets, and construction requirements.

You will support model home design, maintain design materials, and collaborate with construction, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve questions and ensure a smooth design experience.

A minimum of 2 years in interior design and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent are required; residential design experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of interior design experience or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• Experience supporting design development, documentation, or coordination.
• Experience following established processes under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Guide homebuyers through the design selection process.
• Prepare and document design selections to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain design samples, finish libraries, and presentation materials.
• Assist in developing cohesive design palettes reflecting standards.
• Review design selections for completeness and feasibility.
• Coordinate with construction, purchasing, and sales teams.
• Resolve design or documentation issues using prior experience.
• Support model home design preparation and merchandising coordination.
• Provide guidance to entry-level design or support team members.
