Job summary

Facade Today in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced interior architect for a full-time, on-site role. You will conceptualize, design, and execute creative interior spaces for residential and commercial projects, with a strong emphasis on custom millwork and bespoke detailing.

You will create architectural drawings, space plans, and construction documents, supervise fit-outs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure the design vision is realized on time and within budget for high-end projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Architecture and Interior Architecture.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out processes, materials and construction methods.
• Experience in construction documents.
• Proven experience in millwork detailing and joinery.
• Strong attention to detail with an innovative design approach.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction sets and millwork drawing packages.
• Design custom cabinetry, built-ins and architectural features.
• Select materials, finishes and hardware for custom fabrications.
• Coordinate with woodshops and contractors to ensure design accuracy.
• Conduct site surveys and field measurements.
