Job summary

Go Fractional is seeking a Temporary IFS Cloud Migration Tech Lead to join our Corporate IT team and work remotely. The role requires an experienced IFS/ERP professional who can lead an active implementation, drive go-live execution, and stabilize post go-live.

You will supervise a 7-person team through go-live, coordinate testing, cutover planning, and risk resolution to ensure on-time delivery. The candidate will report to the VP of Information Technology, work with IT leadership and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
• 7–8+ years of ERP experience with at least 1 year leading a large ERP project.
• Experience with IFS Cloud migration is highly preferred.
• Ability to own day-to-day technical direction and tasking of a 7-person team through go-live.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with IT leadership and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day technical execution of the IFS Cloud migration through go-live and stabilization.
• Coordinate integration testing, system validation, and cutover planning for the December milestone.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and blockers to keep the project on schedule.
• Collaborate with Project Manager, IT Directors, and stakeholders to align technical work with milestones.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and IFS partners to ensure timely delivery of dependencies.
• Support go-live readiness activities including UAT coordination and hypercare planning.
• Document key technical decisions and migration processes for knowledge continuity.

We are seeking a Temporary IFS Cloud Migration Tech Lead to join our Corporate IT Team and work remotely.

This position requires an experienced IFS/ERP professional who can quickly step into an active implementation and provide technical leadership through go-live and post-go-live stabilization. The Tech Lead will own the day-to-day technical direction and tasking of a 7-person team (5 System Analysts, 1 Data Analyst, and 1 System Admin) through go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day technical execution of the IFS Cloud migration, including tasking and coordinating a 7-person team (System Analysts, Data Analyst, and System Admin) through go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

• Support go-live readiness activities including UAT coordination, system validation, and hypercare planning and execution.
• Document key technical decisions, configurations, and migration processes to ensure knowledge continuity beyond the engagement.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Experience

• IFS experience is required, with strong preference for hands-on IFS Cloud experience. Experience with IFS Apps 10 and/or an Apps 10-to-Cloud migration is highly preferred.
• 7–8+ years of ERP experience with at least 1 year leading a large ERP project
• Someone who can own day-to-day technical direction and tasking of a 7-person team through go-live
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; this person will work directly with IT leadership and business stakeholders
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
