The role ensures borrower payments are accurately processed, escrow activity is properly administered, loan records are maintained, and servicing transfers are completed timely through the effective date of transfer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Assoc or Bachelor degree preferred in business/finance/accounting or related field.
• Two to four years of experience in mortgage servicing or related field preferred.
• Experience with interim servicing and servicing transfers strongly preferred.
• Experience working with mortgage servicing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interim servicing: service loans from funding through transfer to investor or permanent servicer.
• Monitor interim pipeline and ensure loans are established, maintained, and transferred on time.
• Maintain accurate loan and borrower information in the servicing system.
• Review loan information for accuracy and resolve servicing discrepancies before transfer.
• Coordinate with internal departments to address issues delaying servicing transfer.
