Zusammenfassung

Bakersfield College is seeking an Interim Director of Human Resources to lead and oversee the college's HR functions, including recruitment, classification and compensation, performance management, training, HRIS, and employee relations.

Under the Vice Chancellor, Human Resources, you will ensure consistent application of laws, regulations, and collective bargaining agreements, and coordinate with District HR for district-wide alignment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in HR management, personnel administration, business, public administration, industrial/labor relations or a related field.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and/or progressively responsible professional experience.
• Five years of HR experience with recruitment, classification/compensation, employee/labor relations, compliance or HRIS, including at least two years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Diversity sensitivity and inclusive work experience in a community college setting.

Aufgaben

• Direct and oversee daily HR services and operations at the college in alignment with policies and guidance.
• Collaborate to develop goals, policies, and priorities for HR programs.
• Monitor service delivery efficiency and adjust staffing as needed.
• Coordinate workplace investigations with District HR.
• Participate in workforce planning, succession, and leadership development.
