PATH is seeking a part‑time Safety Support Associate in Los Angeles, CA. You will help maintain a safe interim housing site, engage participants in safety practices, and support crisis response with de‑escalation techniques.

The role collaborates with case management and security teams to uphold safety and policy compliance. Minimum experience is welcome across levels; CPR/First Aid certification is a company requirement, and California‑based on‑site work is expected.

Responsabilités

• Ensure overall safety of the interim housing site using observation and de‑escalation.
• Coordinate with the onsite case management team to provide site support.
• Collaborate with contracted security agencies to maintain site safety.
• Conduct regular site rounds and report discrepancies or concerns.
• Draft written documentation on safety and security of the site.
• Respond to safety/crisis situations using non‑violent de‑escalation strategies.
• Assist with developing forms, procedures, and manuals for Metro LA Interim Housing.
• Prepare reports as necessary or requested.
• Attend meetings and provide input on safety and support operations.
