Job summary

Hope the Mission is seeking an Interim Assistant Program Manager in Northridge, CA to support housing programs and ensure operations run smoothly. Under the Program Manager, you will supervise staff, maintain documentation, and uphold safety, contracts, and compliance across shifts.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in social sciences, 2–3 years in housing/homelessness programs, supervisory experience, and skills in trauma-informed care, de-escalation, and HMIS/Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; two to three years housing/homelessness program experience.
• Two years supervisory or management-level experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Support program leadership in maintaining operations, documentation, and compliance.
• Monitor program goals and performance targets.
• Maintain participant files, exit documentation, and required reports.
• Provide staff training and orientation on procedures and safety.
• Assist with coordination of community partners and meetings.
