FirstService Residential is seeking a Bench General Manager in California to support the Sacramento Division and Regional Director. You will cover at properties, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with governing documents while developing into a future on-site GM role.

The role emphasizes mentoring by the Regional Director, adherence to policies, and strong relationship building with the board, committees, and residents. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or related field.
• CCAM, CMCA or PCAM designation preferred.
• Minimum of three years of high‑profile community management experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Understand governing documents (CCRs, By-Laws, rules) and ensure compliance.
• Learn FirstService systems and SOPs; follow policies.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise building staff; manage budgets.
• Promote service standards and coach staff.
• Inspect buildings and common areas; coordinate repairs.
• Review financials; prepare board packets and attend meetings.
• Oversee vendor invoices and contracts; obtain bids for projects.
• Support board and committees; assist with audits and tax returns.
