Job summary

Action Property Management is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations of premier residential communities in California. Lead on-site teams, uphold service standards, and maintain strong relationships with homeowners and Board members.

You will drive budgets, vendor contracts, and compliance while aligning with Action’s values and commitment to excellence. Evening Board attendance may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in property management; HOA high rise experience preferred.
• CMCA certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Willingness to attend evening Board meetings as needed.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client and resident relationships.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive results.
• Experience developing and executing plans to achieve community objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop on-site staff to create a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
• Ensure team adherence to policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Serve as primary liaison between the Board of Directors, homeowners, and Action Property Management.
• Attend Board meetings, prepare detailed management reports, and present strategic recommendations.
• Oversee daily operations to maintain high property standards, safety, and service.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure timely payments.
• Negotiate, oversee, and evaluate vendor contracts for quality service and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal regulations and company policies.
• Promote community engagement through events, communications, and outreach.
• Drive long-term strategic planning and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
