Job summary

Mosaic Management in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Cook to join our dining services. You will prepare and serve meals according to established menus, ensure safety and proper serving temperatures, and accommodate dietary needs and textures.

You will present food attractively, assist with plating during peak times, and maintain kitchen cleanliness per infection control standards while delivering courteous, resident-focused service.

• Food Preparation & Service
• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, recipes, and portion standards.
• Ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and at proper serving temperatures.
• Accommodate resident dietary needs, including special diets, allergies, and texture modifications.
• Present food attractively and consistently, following Mosaic dining standards.
• Step in to assist with plating, garnishing, and serving during peak dining times.
• Provide courteous, respectful, and personalized service to residents and guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience and fostering positive relationships
• Kitchen Cleanliness & Sanitation
• Clean and maintain the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Follow Mosaic’s cleaning schedules and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Ability to prepare a variety of foods skillfully and efficiently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience working with therapeutic or specialized diets.
• ServSafe, Food Handlers or equivalent food safety certification.
