Mosaic Management in Bend, Oregon is seeking a warm, dependable Cook to prepare meals for residents in our healthcare setting. You will follow established menus, ensure proper portioning, and maintain safe cooking temperatures.

The role requires adapting to dietary requirements, keeping a clean kitchen, and delivering respectful, personalized service during peak dining times. Applicants should have at least 1 year kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and a ServSafe or equivalent

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cook experience in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with therapeutic or specialized diets.
• ServSafe or equivalent food safety certification.

Responsabilidades

• Kitchen Cleanliness & Sanitation
• Clean and maintain the kitchen, food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Follow Mosaic’s cleaning schedules and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cook in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
• Ability to prepare a variety of foods skillfully and efficiently.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Prior experience working with therapeutic or specialized diets.
• ServSafe, Food Handlers or equivalent food safety certification.
