Job summary

Mosaic Management is seeking a Server, Dietary Aid to support dining services and enhance resident experience in the Bend, OR facility.

You will assist with meal preparation, serve meals, and ensure portions, dietary needs, and presentation meet standards while maintaining a respectful, supportive environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to prepare, serve, and handle food safely and efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.
• English literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Food Service & Resident Experience: support dining and resident interactions.
• Assist with meal preparation and service in accordance with menus and resident dietary needs.
• Serve meals promptly, ensuring correct portions, orders, and presentation standards.
• Provide respectful, courteous, and personalized service to residents, guests, and staff.
• Ensure special diets, allergies, and texture modifications are followed accurately for each resident.
• Monitor resident satisfaction during mealtimes and report concerns to the Dining Services Manager.
• Accurately record employee and resident guest meals daily for cost tracking and billing.
• Assist residents with meal selections, ensuring their preferences are honored.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds routinely.
• Willingness to complete required Mosaic and state-mandated training.
• Experience in dining, food service, or hospitality.
