Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Interim Controller to act as a financial expert, oversee accounting procedures, and supervise staff. You will manage AP/AR, payroll, tax, cost and inventory accounting plus provide ongoing analysis and budget variance reporting.

The role includes establishing procedures, monitoring performance metrics, and assisting in budget formulation to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience managing accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Leadership experience supervising staff and coordinating teams.
• Proficiency with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax, cost and inventory accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial reporting for the business unit.
• Establish and coordinate all accounting procedures.
• Investigate trends/variances in financial data and report findings.
• Monitor margins, variances and provide feedback to management.
• Assist in budgeting and monthly variance analyses.
