The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting leadership, extensive GAAP knowledge, and hands-on NetSuite experience to drive process improvements and operational efficiency across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with project-based accounting, job costing, and revenue recognition preferred.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Oversee general ledger activity and accuracy of reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Analyze project profitability and operational performance metrics.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and related functions.
• Develop and improve accounting processes and reporting capabilities.
• Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff; promote continuous improvement.
