Job summary

Sand Springs Public Schools is seeking an interim SSPS Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources to provide executive-level leadership for recruitment, retention, and HR policy administration. This role reports to the Superintendent and oversees employee relations, labor relations, and compliance.

The position requires a master’s degree or higher with Oklahoma Superintendent Certification and extensive district-level experience in HR and personnel management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Oklahoma Superintendent Certification required.
• Minimum 10 years of administrative leadership experience.
• Experience in recruitment, selection, and retention.
• Knowledge of HR policy administration and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with campus and district personnel.
• Oversee HR staffing, recruitment, and retention strategies district-wide.
• Lead and supervise HR processes including employee relations and compliance.
• Provide professional development and policy guidance to district leadership.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent and cabinet on workforce strategies.
