Job summary

AWARE is hiring a Residential Specialist in Anaconda, Montana. The role supports adults and families through intensive stabilization care, with a starting wage of $28.00 per hour and full-time hours.

The successful candidate will document care plans, coordinate activities, assist with scheduling and trainings, and use electronic medical records to track progress. A strong emphasis on compassion, teamwork, and professional growth is required.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience or an associate degree (Human Services) with related experience, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience.
• Ability to implement individual support plans with behavioral techniques and understanding of developmental disabilities.
• Computer literacy, able to navigate and record in performance-based software and EMR systems.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills for team collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily documentation checks: treatment plans, clinical and staff notes, and logs.
• Ensure weekly meal menus are posted and meals prepared properly.
• Organize structured group activities daily.
• Assist with house cleaning and organization.
• Support scheduling, interviews, training, and related tasks.
• Assist Residential Manager with supervisory duties as needed.
• Utilize HELP de-escalation and basic First Aid/CPR when required.
• Attend mandatory trainings, in-services, and staff meetings.
