Job summary

AWARE in Billings, Montana is seeking a Residential Specialist to provide compassionate care for adults, children, and families in a structured residence. The role is full-time under a temporary assignment, starting at $21.00–$23.00/hour.

You will document plans and notes, support daily living activities, accompany individuals on community outings, assist with meals and hygiene, and participate in required trainings to ensure trauma-informed, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Human Services or an associate/bachelor degree with related experience.
• Ability to implement individual support plans with understanding of behavioral needs.
• Requires computer literacy and experience with electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with individuals to assess strengths and daily living skills, promoting independence.
• Provide empathy and guidance to navigate personal challenges and develop coping strategies.
• Report to Residential Manager, identify missing documentation, client or staff issues.
• Assist with scheduling, interviews, training, and other related matters.
• Organize structured group activities and supervise daily activities.
• Provide supervision and companionship during daily activities, ensuring safety and inclusion.
