Georgia-Families-in-Transition is seeking an Intensive Family Intervention Therapist to provide intensive in-home mental health counseling for children and adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement. You will use evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to support families in Gwinnett County.

The role requires a Master’s degree, GA licensure or licensure-eligible, willingness to travel up to 75%, and after-school/weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology/social work or related field
• GA licensure status (LPC/LCSW/LMFT) or licensure-eligible with supervision
• Pass DBHDD background check
• Willingness to travel within Gwinnett County
• Full-time with after-school hours and weekends

Responsabilités

• Provide individual/family mental health counseling using trauma-informed approaches
• Coordinate care with a multi-disciplinary treatment team
• Provide crisis intervention as needed to support functioning
• Attend weekly supervision with team lead
• Meet productivity and documentation standards
• Travel to clients in Gwinnett County as required
