Job summary

Blue Kite Wellness seeks an Intensive Home-Based Clinician II to deliver clinical services to children, youth, and families in homes and communities around Bloomington, IL. The role includes developing treatment plans and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, with telehealth when allowed.

Requirements include QMHP/LPHA licensure, a Master’s degree in a behavioral health field, and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Meets current Illinois requirements for QMHP or LPHA, including education, licensure, supervision, credentialing, and scope-of-practice.
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
• At least two years of progressively responsible behavioral health experience with children, adolescents, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide Intensive Home-Based Clinical services to eligible children, youth, and families per service plans and Illinois Pathways requirements.
• Use IM+CANS, Functional Behavioral Assessment, clinical observations, family input, and team recommendations to develop/adjust interventions.
• Deliver individual, family, caregiver, and cross-system therapies to support symptom reduction, family stability, and safe home/community living.
• Strengthen caregiver capacity, family communication, problem-solving, coping, emotion regulation, and behavior management.
• Provide clinical direction and consultation to IHBS staff, including goals, progress, and strategy adjustments.
• Participate as active Child and Family Team member with caregivers, coordinators, schools, crisis providers, and supports.
• Support crisis prevention, safety planning, de-escalation, and post-crisis follow-up within scope of practice.
