Job summary

The Office of the Indiana Attorney General invites applications for the Intensive Deputy Attorney General (IDAG) Program. IDAGs assist across legal divisions, accompany attorneys to court, draft briefs, and conduct research in all phases of litigation.

Participants receive mentorship from a Deputy Attorney General, participate in training across Litigation, Appeals, Consumer Protection, and more, and may progress to a Deputy Attorney General role after admission to practice law in Indiana.

Qualifications

• 3L at an accredited law school is required.
• Commit to taking the Indiana Bar Exam or the Uniform Bar Exam after graduation.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with attorneys across divisions on litigation tasks.
• Attend court appearances and participate in all phases of litigation.
• Draft legal briefs and conduct legal research under supervision.
