Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline modeling for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate deliverables across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash-checked model.

You will supervise modeling staff, enforce BIM standards, and support field assignments with design sketches and production guidance, using Autodesk tools and Bentley where needed.

Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training in basic CADD drafting technology and intelligent modeling.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency contingent on duties.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP to deliver a single federated model.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentor and train production staff across offices to build institutional capability.
• Perform model health checks, versioning, and ensure interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley toolsets.
